Calculator data

Calculator inputs and results are processed in your browser. The site does not automatically send your calculations to a database. When you copy a calculation link, its inputs become part of that URL and will be visible to anyone you share it with. URLs may appear in browser history and web-server access logs. The optional calculation API processes the inputs you explicitly submit to it.

Saved tools

Bookmarked tools and advertising preferences are stored in this browser using local storage. These settings stay on your device. Clear your browser storage to remove them. No account is required.

Feedback

When you submit feedback, your message, optional reply email, and current page path are emailed to the IronTandem team. Calculator values and URL parameters are not included automatically. Messages are not posted publicly or saved in a site database; they are retained in the receiving email service for handling feedback. Do not include sensitive shipment, customer, or business information. Temporary form tokens and short-lived, hashed network identifiers help limit spam. The receiving address is kept in private server configuration.

Advertising

IronTandem integrates Google AdSense account ca-pub-9553667506386394 and Google Privacy & messaging. Google and other advertising partners may place and read cookies or similar device identifiers, and use web beacons and IP addresses to deliver, measure, and personalize advertising where permitted by your consent and applicable settings. On advertising pages, the Google scripts send basic connection information, such as your IP address and browser details, when they load. Loading a script is separate from permitting an optional ad request: our optional requests remain paused until the applicable choices are known. Google manages European advertising consent; our local preferences are not a replacement for its certified consent message. Elsewhere, select Advertising cookies and Save choices to permit ads, or Necessary only to keep optional requests paused. Existing advertising opt-outs and Global Privacy Control take precedence. This privacy page loads neither advertising nor Google consent tags.

Server operation

The hosting provider may maintain access logs containing IP addresses, request times, and requested URLs for security and operation. These operational logs are separate from consent-based Google Analytics.

Changes

This privacy notice describes the current tool collection. It will be updated when account features, data storage, or advertising integrations change.

Optional Google Analytics

Google Analytics 4, property 559392343 and Measurement ID G-3GH3H7C819, measures visits only after you separately allow Analytics cookies. Advertising permission alone does not turn it on. For eligible European visitors, Google's analytics-storage consent signal must also permit measurement. Analytics receives page paths and titles, an origin-only referrer, cookies or device information, and basic connection information such as IP address and browser information. Calculator values, uploaded datasets, feedback content, query strings and URL fragments are not included in our page-view events. Enhanced measurement, Google signals and advertising personalization are disabled for this integration. Before permission, we do not load the GA4 measurement tag. This privacy page and unknown-page errors are not measured.

Google Ads campaign measurement

Google Ads tag AW-16933833228 connects campaign measurement on calculator pages, full guides, and the homepage. It is configured only after advertising permission; Analytics permission alone does not enable it. For European visitors, Google must also grant advertising storage and advertising user-data consent. The tag may use advertising cookies, including first-party _gcl_ identifiers, ad-click identifiers, device information, and basic connection information to measure campaigns. Advertising personalization and enhanced conversions are disabled for this measurement. We do not send feedback text, email addresses, calculator inputs, or uploaded datasets to the Ads tag. Our explicit page-location configuration excludes query strings and fragments. The existing first_visit conversion comes from GA4; we do not send a second conversion event from this tag. This privacy page does not load Google measurement tags.

Cookie choices and withdrawal

Use Privacy & cookie settings in the footer to change optional categories or open Google consent settings where they apply. Advertising and Analytics choices are stored separately in this browser under irontandem-cookies and irontandem-analytics. Essential storage supports your saved tools and privacy choices. If Google consent settings cannot load, optional requests remain paused. Global Privacy Control disables both categories. Withdrawing Analytics permission disables further measurement, clears this site's GA4 first-party cookies, and reloads the page. Withdrawing Advertising permission disables Ads measurement, clears this site's readable first-party _gcl_ cookies, and reloads after your choice is complete. Necessary only can clear both categories even on this tracker-free privacy page. Withdrawal does not delete data previously received by Google. Clearing browser storage removes local preferences.

Privacy questions

Use the Contact page for questions about this notice or a privacy request. Include only the information needed to explain your request. Your message and an optional reply address are handled privately; our receiving email address is not published. Do not include passwords, payment information, customer records, or confidential operating data.
