Purchasing-spend shares only, not a competition-law market. Equal-spend ties retain CSV order. Shared links exclude the dataset.

| Supplier B | 180,000 | 30 | 70 |

The HHI arithmetic is applied to your purchasing-spend distribution, not a competition-law market. One supplier gives 10,000; equal shares across four suppliers give 2,500. The default 40%, 30%, 20%, and 10% shares give HHI 3,000 and an equivalent equal-share count of 3.33. Zero-spend rows are retained in the table but not counted as active suppliers.
Spend shares and concentration describe how the entered purchasing value is distributed among suppliers. Use a consistent period, currency, and supplier-entity definition.
Several legal entities can share a parent or a common production site, while a small-spend supplier may provide a critical component. Spend concentration is not the same as dependency risk or alternative capacity. Review those relationships before interpreting diversification as resilience.
Use a complete period and one currency, and consolidate related supplier entities appropriately before import. This is not an antitrust assessment, supplier failure forecast, or sourcing recommendation. Spend shares alone do not capture substitutability, geography, materials, or common ownership.
US DOJ: HHI arithmetic definition (not risk thresholds)No. Purchasing-spend concentration is not a competition-law market analysis. No regulatory or automatic risk classification is applied.
No. The dataset stays in your browser and is excluded from shared URLs. The optional public calculation API processes only data deliberately posted to it.
